Call for Symposia
In 2018, the ISAZ Conference will incorporate Symposia that explore the conference theme “Animals in Our Lives: Multidisciplinary Approaches to the Study of Human–Animal Interactions".
Accepted Symposium will be included in the main ISAZ 2018 program, and be allocated a time slot of between 1 and 2 hours.
It is the intention that the Symposium proposer will chair the session, promote the Symposium in order to encourage submissions, and manage abstracts for quality assurance. The organising committee will work closely with the Symposium organiser/s, and provide assistance and advice where needed.
If you are interested in proposing a Symposium, we ask that you provide a title, as well as the name and affiliations of the proposer/s, a brief summary of the topic (no more than 300 words), details of how the symposium will be structured, and a list of presentations to be included if known (including presenter, affiliation, title and brief abstract). Initial discussions on potential topics or workshops are welcomed at any time prior to submission.
Competition for the limited places for symposia is expected to be strong.
Those wishing to propose one should do so sooner rather than later as they will be assessed as they arrive. Submit via the Submit a concept now button below.
Applications are to be made at any time prior to January 18, 2018.
We encourage discussion with the organising committee prior to submission - contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
