Mr Simon Costello
Simon Costello is a Nunukul goori (man) from Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island) from the Quandamooka First Nation people in South East Queensland. Simon holds a Diploma of Education, Post Graduate Certificate Health Management and a Masters of Public Health. He is currently working in Cairns, North Queensland as the Quality and Innovation Manager with the Rural Remote Clinical Support Unit, Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service. Simon has 17 years experience in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Services predominantly in Health focusing on Continual Quality Improvement, Change Management, Environmental Health, Animal Management and Home and Community Care. Simon is passionate about fostering all levels of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community leadership and self-determination and an avid supporter of "One Health" initiatives.
